Riverina Family Farm Wedding

Deep in a pretty little valley in the Riverina you will find a property called Billapalap and to this family it is a very special place of memories and dreams. A simple and beautiful wedding day for Amy + Dugald who were married in the garden in the shade of the Elm trees and then held an intimate party for their nearest and dearest in the shed on the property. By all accounts this was a challenging project to make the shed just right and took some time to clean out the collection of things we just might need and the brown snakes and an old Holden – but what a result! When the long overdue autumn rain blew in late in the afternoon of the wedding day with wild winds, thunder, dust and belting rain they just closed the shed doors and continued on because country people are never upset by rain.

The difficult part of love
