Still riding the high from Amber + Richard’s wedding in Mansfield! Yeehah 🐎
Bluegrass tunes, big hats, golden light, Amber’s gorgeous wedding gown, colour for days, and a whole lot of love. From their vows under big skies to the tattoo station for guests, the sensational sunset location and the wild, barefoot dancefloor moments, this day had heart and soul in every frame.
They celebrated with their amazing tribe, their darling girl Dixie (truly the smiliest, most doted-on babe ever 🥹), and made the kind of magic that reminds me exactly why I do this work: So you don’t just see your wedding day—you feel it.
Amber + Richard’s day was relaxed, colourful, and full of intention. “Your day, your way” has never felt more fitting.
And personally? This one marked something big for me too—coming up to 11 years of photographing weddings. I got my first tattoo to celebrate: a flaming heart, channelling love, beauty, spiritual energy, and intention. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it 🙌

Rain on your wedding day? We always have a Plan B.

The rain came down as J&B exchanged their vows in Victoria's High Country, and it created a magical backdrop for this relaxed couple and some of the dreamiest photos I’ve ever been lucky enough to take. Dederang in the Kiewa Valley near Albury/Wodonga is some of the prettiest country you can imagine - those hills roll gently down the valley towards Mt Bogong.

The weather might not go as planned (and you can't do a thing about the weather!), but trust me, we will have a seamless Plan B in place, your day will still be amazing—and your photography will be stunningly unique. So, the rain came down and there wasn't a thing we could do about it so beautiful bride (and gal!) J. just kicked off her shoes and B. grabbed an umbrella, the guests stayed under the verandah of the family home and this magical day rolled on.

This is our wedding story - 19 years ago, chapel of love aka Albury Courthouse and then dinner with our fave peeps afterwards. It was about 4 weeks from our son Charlie arriving and I was stepping into being a step parent to the cute lil’ pink flower girl. This is how we did it. It was what worked for us. It was our day and it was perfect.
