Love Blooms in Albury: A Sunny Spring Micro Wedding Tale

Hey there, lovely couples-to-be and fellow wedding enthusiasts! Today, I am beyond thrilled to share the heartwarming love story of Kali & Ross, a charming duo who recently tied the knot in a beautiful and intimate spring wedding in Albury. I had the absolute pleasure of capturing every delightful moment of their special day.

In the heart of Albury, in the gorgeous Botanic Gardens, against the backdrop of blooming flowers and sunny skies, Kali & Ross celebrated their love in a way that was perfectly tailored to their dreams.

I arrived early – as I always do – and was there to lend a hand to the groom Ross and his best man to set up the table and plates so it looked it’s very best and work with marriage celebrant Sharon Milsome about the best place to hold the ceremony so we could get the best photography.

One of the most remarkable things about Kali & Ross’s wedding planning journey was their unwavering focus on what truly mattered to them. They wanted their guests to have a delicious experience, and oh boy, did they deliver! The food and drinks flowed, creating an atmosphere of warmth and joy that permeated their wedding day.

When it came to their wedding day images, Kali & Ross envisioned a gallery filled with sunny, light-filled photographs that captured the essence of their happiness and hilarity. Now, let’s talk aesthetics! Kali & Ross opted for a natural theme, featuring dried proteas, eucalyptus, and an elegant colour palette of white, ivory, green, and burgundy. Vintage plates and glasses – owned by family members and linked to happy memories – adorned the table. A gorgeous New York baked cheesecake by Iggy & Crumb and there were plenty of bottles of chilled Veuve Clicquot to celebrate the occasion. The result? A visually stunning celebration that perfectly complemented the outdoor spring setting.

And here’s a fun fact: there was no traditional proposal story! Instead, Kali & Ross had a casual yet heartfelt conversation over a fancy dinner, where they decided, “y’know, we should get married.” Their love story is a testament to the beauty of simplicity and authenticity, something that truly shines through in their wedding day photos.

As for the details, Kali & Ross didn’t need much help. They had their hearts set on their vision, from the decor to the food and everything in between. Their shared love for good food and great booze added an extra layer of joy to their celebration, making it an affair to remember. A small guest list of close family and Kali’s daughter Grace as the sweetest flower girl wearing a necklace that belonged to Kali’s grandmother.
