Brigid + Thomas – Stanley Wedding

A stunner of a wedding for Brigid + Thomas. Low key at a beautiful location with their nearest and dearest. A wedding can be anything you want it to be – whatever means something to you, however you want to celebrate your day! The Victorian High Country in the state’s North East is the perfect location for a wedding pretty much any time of year. This area is vast and takes in the alpine region right down to the banks of the Murray River. Gorgeous weather, big skies, clean air, natural landscapes, venues that mean you can do all your celebrating in the one place means more time for you to enjoy your guests and your party!

This wedding held in Stanley (near Beechworth) was at the Blue Gum Church, which is the most incredible location for a small, low key wedding – a cute little blue church with red doors tucked in what I call the ‘magic forest’. Brigid and Thomas opted for a short and very sweet ceremony followed by cocktails and an intimate dinner inside the church. A wedding is not complete without gorgeous, fresh florals and the gals at Thistle and Fern are always a joy to work with. Musician Patrick Russell was there doing acoustics for the ceremony and drinks and into the evening as dinner was served.
