A summer garden party that could’ve doubled as a movie set. ✨

Erika & Joel said I do on the lawns of Koendidda Homestead — all heritage charm, big trees, and that soft country light that photographers lose their minds over. Then, as the sun dipped, the whole place turned into a glittering garden party under the stars and festoon lights.

It was one of those nights that felt easy and electric at the same time — champagne flowing, shoes off, big hugs, louder laughs.

2015 feels like a lifetime ago, but this one? Still has my heart.

✨ Goodbye Weddings, Hello New Adventures ✨

From the end of 2026, I’ll be closing the wedding photography chapter of my business. It’s a decision that has been a long time in the making, and not one I take lightly. Wedding photography has been part of my life for over 10 years, and what a journey it has been.

I have loved every second of it — the stories, the people, the privilege of being invited into such meaningful, memorable moments. It’s been the most incredible gift, and I am endlessly grateful to the couples who trusted me to capture their day. 💛

But life is about change and growth. Our family is moving into a new season — with our daughter finishing school, our son starting his apprenticeship, supporting my parents in their next chapter, and helping my mum who is (the most amazing) full time carer for my youngest brother Richard. It feels like the right time to step into something new.

So, what’s next? I’ll be continuing my work with small businesses over at @bygeorgephoto, leaning deeper into storytelling, travel, and lifestyle photography....helping the wonderful Mr James out working at cellar door and whatever else comes my way...and hopefully more time with friends and family. Honestly, I don’t have all the answers yet — and that’s equal parts scary and exciting! But I believe you have to take those wobbly, brave steps toward change to open the door to new possibilities.

👉 A very important note: If you’re one of my beautiful couples getting married in 2026, nothing changes for you — I am 100% committed to you, your day, and creating the images you’ve been dreaming of. 💍✨

From a self-taught photographer who had a calling to do wedding photography, quit her job, jumped headfirst off a cliff into the unknown, and built her wings on the way down… to now, someone looking forward to a new chapter with gratitude, curiosity, and courage — thank you for being part of this wild, wonderful ride.

Bluegrass tunes, big hats, golden light, Amber’s gorgeous wedding gown, colour for days, and a whole lot of love. From their vows under big skies to the tattoo station for guests, the sensational sunset location and the wild, barefoot dancefloor moments, this day had heart and soul in every frame.
They celebrated with their amazing tribe, their darling girl Dixie (truly the smiliest, most doted-on babe ever 🥹), and made the kind of magic that reminds me exactly why I do this work: So you don’t just see your wedding day—you feel it.
Amber + Richard’s day was relaxed, colourful, and full of intention. “Your day, your way” has never felt more fitting.
And personally? This one marked something big for me too—coming up to 11 years of photographing weddings. I got my first tattoo to celebrate: a flaming heart, channelling love, beauty, spiritual energy, and intention. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it 🙌
