As a wedding photographer, I specialise in and love rural weddings in unique locations and I have to tell you that an Alpine Valley wedding in North East Victoria is always a treat! I loved being around Caitlyn + Andy on their wedding day – they were so clear on what they wanted their day to be about and wanted beautiful images to enjoy and remember those moments. After meeting at Uni 5 years ago Caitlyn + Andy have enjoyed plenty of travel and a couple of amazing milestones such as building a home and adding a gorgeous cat into their lives! After a romantic proposal in beautiful Bali – Caitlyn got to work and organised absolutely every detail of their dream wedding day describing her vision as a modern country wedding. They wanted a photographer that would produce beautiful images and that they could feel comfortable with and that could also capture plenty of candid moments of them enjoying the day with their nearest and dearest.

The pair enjoyed their wedding at Remel 185 an incredible little venue tucked away in the very pretty Alpine Valley in North East Victoria where laid back, generous country hospitality is the order of the day. The rustic venue was given clean and contemporary styling thanks to a careful selection of furniture from Bang, gorgeous signage by Grimshaw Designs and beautiful classic green and white florals. Caitlyn was the picture of absolute elegance in a Chosen by One Day gown with full-length veil that caught all the beautiful light and Andy and his crew were so dapper in fab suits from Judds.

Caitlin + Andy celebrated their Best Day Ever with a close circle of friends and family. The spring sunshine played hide and seek for most of their wedding day but at the very moment Mr. + Mrs. Grant walked down the aisle gorgeous sunshine broke through big fat fluffy clouds. The couple exited as Mr + Mrs under a full shower of spectacular white confetti – BEST DAY EVER!!!!!!
