Packages

If you’re looking for a photographer that simply turns up and takes a ‘few snaps’ this is definitely not me. From our very first meeting, my priority is to get to know you, what you love about each other, and the grand vision for your big day.

If this sounds more like your style, then let’s discuss a package for your wedding. Bookings are limited, so I can focus on creating the best possible photography for each and every wedding.

Wedding photography coverage pricing begins at $3950

Elopement and small wedding packages are also available

Prices include GST.

“Georgie was the wedding photographer of our dreams! She is calm, efficient, creative, and has a brilliant eye for the Victorian country landscape. We knew that Georgie would be in high demand and were stoked to book her for our special day. We couldn’t be happier with our photos and the service she provided from start to finish.”

Travel

Based in Rutherglen (wine country) Victoria, but I am available (and love to) travel out of this region and interstate. I can kick it with the kids in the big smoke and I love weddings that take me on the backroads deep into rural Australia. The gorgeous people I meet and the beautiful country we live in feeds my soul! I shoot around half my weddings in this region and then the rest further afield, so travelling a country mile or two to cover your wedding is just part of the job – Rutherglen, Wahgunyah, Corowa, Melbourne, Mulwala, Tocumwal, Barooga, Tamworth, Wagga, Shoreham, Milawa, Tarrawingee, Wangaratta, Bright, Mansfield, Wandiligong, Harrietville, Mount Beauty, Benalla, Daylesford, Mitta Mitta, Gundagai, Whitfield, Cheshunt, Ardlethan, Bateman’s Bay, Mildura, Strathalbyn, Adelong and Sterling are just some of the amazing locations I have photographed weddings in!

Contact Georgie to discuss pricing that includes travel.

FAQs

Do you travel?

Absolutely. I regularly travel for weddings and have photographed lovebirds in most states in Australia. From dreamy nuptials amid the red dirt of the top end to a day beside the seaside in Tassie, you can be completely confident that wherever your wedding is held, I’ll be there with my A-game to ensure your photography experience is outstanding.

I regularly photograph country weddings around Victoria and New South Wales including Albury, Bright, Canberra, Deniliquin, Dubbo, Echuca, Euroa, Falls Creek, Gundagai, Hay, Leeton, Mansfield, Melbourne, Mildura, Mount Beauty, Mount Hotham, Mudgee, Orange, Rutherglen, Tamworth, Tocumwal, Wagga Wagga, Wangaratta, Wodonga and Yarrawonga. Let me know where your wedding will be and I’ll create a custom quote.

How do we book?

Easy. Just complete a signed booking form and pay a $1,000 booking fee to secure your date.

What happens then?

Stop by my office in Rutherglen, which I share with James & Co so a glass of something lovely is guaranteed! If that’s too far to come, we can arrange another location or chat by Skype. I’ll want to hear all about your story as a couple and your plans for the big day.

Should we book an engagement session?

Our clients routinely report that they loved their engagement session! One reason being (aside from those priceless shots capturing your and your forever person soon after putting a ring on it), this session is like my first date with the two of you before the big day. An engagement session allows me to get to know you as a couple, and vice versa, which often results in a wonderful, easy and relaxed dynamic between us for the shoot on your wedding day. Essentially, having formed a closer connection can enhance what we capture. Think of it this way – by the time you don the white dress, you’ll feel like you’re being photographed by an old mate (just with a fancier camera).

How long should we allow for photos on the day?

We’ll work out a timeline closer to the day, but in general you’ll want to allow an hour to shoot the bride and groom getting ready, half an hour for family photos and about 45 minutes for photos of the happy couple.

I’ve photographed many, many weddings (over 100!) and in that time, I’ve learnt that the majority of weddings require eight hours of coverage to capture the full editorial narrative of your day. Sometimes a wedding will need longer, and if so, more hours can be added to your package. We’ll go through all of this when we meet, including travel times, the length of the ceremony and when the sunset is on your day.

What’s the advantage of having two photographers?

Think of it as two sets of eyes as opposed to just one! Having two photographers allows us to be in more places at once, meaning we can capture double the candid photos and special moments. We’ll have more vantage points during the ceremony and reception, which brings variety to your photography selection later on.

A second photographer adds perspective to your narrative and you’ll get to re-live your wedding day as you remember it, as well as how your guests experienced it. We know this option is not for everyone, in fact, half our weddings only have a single photographer. If your wedding has over 120 guests or runs on a super-tight timeline, however, we do highly recommend having a second photographer.

Can you recommend other wedding suppliers?

Yes! I regularly work with some truly talented and lovely professionals. You’ll find some of them listed here, or email for more information.

Do you shoot smaller weddings and parties?

I love capturing social gatherings of all shapes and sizes. Just let me know the basic what/when/where/who details and I’ll create a custom quote.

What happens if the equipment fails while you’re shooting our wedding, or afterwards?

What I know for sure is that I’m dedicated to capturing your day. This isn’t the time and place for tech failures! That’s why I’m extremely prepared for any unforeseen tech circumstances unfolding at your wedding. We obviously can’t predict when and if something may go awry, but we’ll be ready with extra equipment, cards, lenses and other necessary gear to continue without interruption. Even after the wedding, we store images in multiple places for added safety.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

No one can control the weather – but whatever opportunity nature provides us, we’ll create beautiful images. Rain, snow, candlelight or sunshine. GJP and the team have extensive experience in all environments, and we know where to go and what to photograph in all kinds of weather. We’ve got your back!

What happens if you’re sick or unable to photograph our wedding?

The big advantage of having me at your wedding is that I make every effort humanly possible to ensure our commitments go as planned. If life has other plans, and an emergency arises, I have talented associate photographers on hand. Should there be a situation where even this isn’t possible, GJP belong to a select group of professional photographers that back each other up (kind of like the photography mafia) . We’re family. We’ve got one another — and you — covered. We can assure you, you’ll have an amazing photographer and a worry-free experience on your wedding day.

What happens after our wedding day?

We know you’ll be itching to see some snaps from your special day that’s why we’ll post a preview image of your wedding on social media the day after the wedding. Then, GJP will edit, process and package everything up for you within 6-8 weeks.
(Note: You may copy or duplicate the digital images for personal use only and print on any medium without alteration to the images. You cannot sell the images or represent them as your own work.)
You will also receive online access to your gallery.
Next, sit down over some bubbles and select your favourite images!

Once we receive our digital images, what can we do with them?

We still delight in producing tactile prints and other tangible products that can be treasured for years to come. You can choose to display your favourite images in style through a variety of products including prints, wall art, canvas and albums. See the ‘Shop’ section of your online gallery, where you can order prints and products from the comfort of your own home. Your nearest and dearest can order from here too.
