I have a love hate relationship with change. Looking back over the last 10 years in particular there have been many changes and so, even though I am pretty easy going (husband will disagree hehe), I do constantly have to work on accepting and embracing change.
When I started my photography business I knew I was doing something that I loved but, it took a while and a lot of hard work to find out my style is and the direction I wanted to go in. After a weekend wedding photography workshop with the ah-maz-ingly talented and generous Erin + Tara I walked out with clear vision, improved confidence and a determination to walk this creative path.
At the start I branded my business "Vignette Photographic" because a vignette is about a story or a scene and that is what I like to do is tell a story using photography. Whether it be a whole scene or a detail such as a texture or a look on a face it tells a story. After a recent discussion with a photography mentor - she asked me why are you not Georgie James Photography? You have a great sounding name? It seemed like the time was right for change!
With clear vision and confidence comes growth and with this growth comes the time to rebrand and prepare to grow and change further. Everything changes.
If you are planing your wedding day your way and you are looking for a photographer that will tell your unique story please get in touch www.georgiejames.com.au and let's talk.
